06.24.2010 Hi everyone, I wanted to let everyone know of an event in October that a lot of us take part in and we plan to make a big presence this year as well. Rock n Road Cyclery and VeloSport are sponsoring a team for the MS ride in October on the 16 & 17. Last year, we raised a total of $11,735, and reached the BRONZE AWARD LEVEL. Rock n Road Cyclery is offering a free RNR jersey or shorts to anyone who raises over $1000. And everyone will receive bottles for that weekend! The MS ride is voted by Competitor Magazine’s readers as the "Best Cycling Event" for the fourth year running, the Bike MS Bay to Bay Tour sponsored by Land Rover Miramar is a one or two-day journey down the gorgeous coastline of Southern California. Participants enjoy a fully-supported ride along three route options (30, 100 or 150 miles) and finish with an overnight celebration that includes live music, refreshments (beer garden!) and an exciting health expo. In 2009, 2,500 cyclists raised $2.3 million! Help us reach our goal this year by registering today! Bike MS Bay to Bay tour supports the National MS Society’s mission to create a world free of multiple sclerosis, the most common neurological disorder leading to disability in young adults.
