Hello Everyone !

Next ride on Wednesday 10/28/09, will be again at Santiago Truck Trail and head to the top of the Luge. From here we will decide if we have enought time to continue on to Old Camp, or head back down the Santiago Truck Trail!  LIGHTS are MANDATORY !
 
We will meet at 5:15pm at  Cooks Corner. (Parking Lot - Live Oak Canyon Road):

Planning to start the ride at 5:30pm after a short introduction to safety rules.
 
While this ride will not really require intermediate level skills, riding with lights adds for sure some difficulty to it. So we do not recommend this ride as your first ride. Further it’s going to be one long climb and as a reward one long downhill. We will start at Cooks Corner, head up Modjeska to the start of Santiago Truck Trail, which is not really steep but just a very long climb to the top of the Luge; from the Luge we will decide if we have enough time to head up towards Old Camp or head back down the Santiago Truck Trail. We will not be going down the Luge this time, however you may choose to do so on your own, but there will not be anyone leading or sweeping down the Luge.  Bring a 2nd layer to wear. It might get already a little bit chilly right after dark. Expect total riding time somewhere around 90 Minutes.

Unfortunately Matthias will not be able to make this ride and his Austrian accent will be missed.
