FINALLY, the Wednesday rides are back on the calendar!
Our first event 02/24 is also at a new venue for everyone from the 2009 rides: BlackStarCanyon (http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail.aspx?trailid=BGS095-031)
When: Roll off 6:00pm after a short introduction to safety rules
Meeting point: Gate – Black Star Canyon Road
Driving Directions: Take Santiago Canyon Road. Turn into Silverado Canyon Road. Take the first left which is Black Star Canyon Road. Drive about one mile to the gate and park.
Beginner Rider Course Description:
This is your perfect opportunity to learn riding with lights, which will be mandatory! Right after the gate we will continue on black star canyon road, a fire road and no steep climbing. We are planning to ride for about 45-60min and depending on the average speed of the group, “Let’s see how far we can go “! Then we will turn around and will carefully descent with a slow pace.
Experienced Rider Course Description:
Yeah, you guys will ride all the way to the top and enjoy the view. We will meet you again on the way down. It should take you about 70min to the top and less than 20min down.
Again, on this ride, LIGHTS are MANDATORY! Also expect temperature to drop into the 40s, when it gets dark.
