Hi,

     I\'m brand new to the Velosport team (and biking in general).  Hope this hasn\'t been covered before, but I\'m interested in doing the Breakaway Ride by Specialized?  Proceeds go to support the Breakaway from Cancer initiative by Amgen.  There are two rides in April that mirror Stage 2 and Stage 8 of the Tour de California, which takes place in May.  I\'m too far from Santa Rosa, but Stage 8 through Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Agoura isn\'t too far. 

Each ride will have beginner, intermediate, and advanced distances.  Stage 8 involves 1, 2, or 4 loops through the Santa Monica mountains.

Anyone know how difficulty this race will be?  Will newbies be tolerated?
