Hello Everyone!
First, Congratulations to our “Wednesday Crew” Heather, Don and JD Kitty for their podiums at the US-CUP last weekend in Fontana!
This Wednesday 03/31, we will have for the first time this year a visit to O’Neill Regional Park.
When: Roll off 6:00pm after a short introduction to safety rules
Meeting point: at the end of Meadow Ridge Drive, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679
Also known at “the nursery” (this should be closer for everyone and there is no vehicle parking fee.)
Beginner Rider Course Description: We will start with Live Oak Trail all the way to the top (transformer station). Then we are planning to take Vista Trail down to Hoffman Homestead Trail, turn left and ride parallel to Live Oak Canyon Road. Uphill back to Live Oak Trail and return to the nursery. This ride has pretty much everything, from uphill switch backs, to fire roads, paved roads and single track. So plenty to practice and exercise and yes, we will make plenty of breaks.
Experienced Rider Course Description: Same like Beginner but instead of turning left on Hoffman Homestead Trail we will turn right and fly all the way down to the other end of Live Oak Trail. Then be prepared for lots of climbing back to the top and enjoy the “high speed highway” down to the nursery
Please email us if you have any further questions. And yes, there is a slight issue with the weather forecast, but we do business as usual and IF we decide to cancel the ride due to hail, thunderstorm, lightning, … will post it before 4:00pm on Wednesday on our website, www.teamvelosport.com
As always, looking forward for a great ride and lots of fun!
