I was thinking about doing the Death Valley Stage race in a couple of weeks on June 12th and 13th.  My wife who is not crazy enough to race in this will be there to cheer.  I checked hotel room cost at the Bristlecone Manor Hotel and they said it was $55 for the night.  Is anyone else going to this race?  It sounds gruelling but well worth it.  No pain no gain.  I would be looking for some other CAT 4 participants but we would always cheer for a higher category team mate!  We were also thinking about caravaning up there to BIg Pine so no one gets lost.   If anyone is interested please email me ( Charles)  at vwdad2@hotmail.com
