Join us this Sunday (8/8) at 9 am for the first in a series of cyclocross clinics designed with the beginner in mind. If you haven’t raced, don\'t have a cyclocross bike, or want to see why someone would jump off a moving bike and then jump back on again, these clinics are for you. If you are an experienced cx racer you are welcome to join the fun, but keep in mind these clinics are targeting beginners and those who have not competed in a cyclocross race.
We will meet at Laguna Niguel Rock N\' Road Cyclery parking lot at 9 am. Topics/Activities: What is cyclocross, cyclocross bike overview, and introduction to dismounts and remounts with a focus on dismount practice.
After a quick introduction, we\'ll ride about 1.5 miles over to Aliso Canyon Community Park (located just up the road from Aliso Woods park at Wood Canyon and Knollwood across from Wood Canyon Elementary School).
After practice, we\'ll ride back to the Rock n\' Road Laguna Niguel store so we can check out some of the 2010 Specialized bikes in stock. This is a great opportunity ask questions about cx bike equipment. Maybe they\'ll even have some inside information on the 2011 Specialized CruX!
