The course is actually pretty fun. It’s 70% single track and what is not single track it’s a climb. Single track from the beginning with not much room to pass, then you have a punchy short climb and single track again. This time the single track has its technical sections; one in particular is pretty steep and rocky. Then a long single track climb followed by a smooth double track descent. Once that’s done, you quickly start climbing an endless fire road that takes you back to the crappy staging area.
My only beef is the staging area. It sucks. Sycamore has much nicer places to stage at and keep the same route. Who knows maybe the city didn’t agree to have it at the park. |
