Hi Everybody!
Geez, can you believe it it’s already August ! We are way past the half way point of the MTB Season. Wednesday 08/03 we will back to Aliso and Wood Canyon Wilderness Park.

When: Meet at 5:45pm with a short introduction to safety rules and a group picture, then roll off sharp at 6:00pm for everyone.
Meeting point: 28373 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677
in the parking lot of Gate #1 (there will be a parking fee) and you should be able to spot us with our Sho-air/Team Velosport Jersey’s.
Novice Rider / Social Pace:
A warm up with Aliso Creek Trail until we hit Aliso Wood Canyon Trail. This is all flat and easy to ride. After a short break we will “sprint” up Cholla (there will be an alternative route to avoid Cholla as well) and take West Ridge Trail towards Top of the world. We will have another break at the top of the world and then head towards Meadows, enjoy at an easy pace the downhill ride with its many switch backs. Then back to the parking lot on Aliso Creek Trail.
Experienced Riders:
Pretty much the same but lots of extra credits: after Cholla you will go downhill on Rock-It then Dripping Cave and again up on Mathis and back to the “normal” route like the rest of the gang going towards Top of the world. Of course everything at a much faster pace and less breaks.
Both groups should arrive back in the parking lot around 8:00pm.
The next planned Rides:
08/10 El Moro
Please email us if you have any further questions or if you want to get this blog via email every Monday. As always, looking forward for a great ride and lots of fun!
