Hi Everyone!
Well, finally, we get to ride again at O’Neill Regional Park!
Meeting Point: 5:45pm at the end of Meadow Ridge Drive, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679.
When: Roll off sharp at 6:00pm after a short introduction to safety rules. Yes, Days are getting shorter and we have only daylight until 7:30pm.
Novice Rider / Social Pace Course Description: We will start at the western end of Live Oak Trail and gradually climb to the Transformer Station. Then we will hit vista trail (one of the all time favorites!). Then we take the short way back to Live Oak Trail (along live oak canyon road, up to the gate). Finally a fun and easy downhill on Live Oak Trail back to the beginning of the route. Vista Trail requires a little bit experience with MTB riding, so we do not recommend this ride as your first ride, but otherwise all skill levels are welcome and the ride will take approx 80minutes.
Experienced Rider Course Description: We start same place like the Novice Rider Course but our first break is at the Transformer Station. We will continue on Live Oak Trail all the way down to the southern end of the back. Then slowly will make our way back via Coyote Trail and the Coyote Canyon Trail to the Transformer Station. We will hit Vista Trail and upon return we fly down Live Oak Trail to get back where we started.
Our next planed rides:
09/12 Whiting Ranch Regional Park
09/19 El Moro / Crystal Cove Regional Park
As always, looking forward for a great ride and lots of fun!
