Hi Everybody!
This Wednesday 10/10 we tackle for the first time in this season: Harding Truck Trail!
When: Roll off 6:00pm after a short introduction to safety rules
Meeting point: Right at the beginning of the Harding Truck Trail at the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary.
Driving Directions: Take Santiago Canyon Road. Turn into Modjeska Canyon Road and drive all the way to the end until you see on the left side the sign for the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary. For your GPS: 29322 Modjeska Canyon Road, Silverado, CA 92676
Course Description:
Not really a lot to say, just: Fire Road, gradually (and never ending) climbing, great views and VERY rewarding. Also we will decide on the spot, how long we going to climb depending on time, temperature or riders getting tired (in other words the fun and joy stops => it is over and we turn around!). There is a very detailed write up at: http://www.mountainbikebill.com/Harding.htm
We will have no specific “Experienced Riders Course” but we certainly form small groups with different climbing speed, since there are not really any technical portions on the trail. So perfect if you want to experience a “Night Ride” for the first time.
Again, LIGHTS are MANDATORY and bring at least a 2nd Layer. (Temperatures might drop into the 50’s)
Please email us if you have any further questions and do not forget to charge your batteries!
As always, looking forward for a great ride and lots of fun!
