Awesome day for the Sho-Air Sonance crew at Big Bear yesterday! It was a beautiful day and conditions were near perfect for the late-morning race.
We had many class winners and even more podiums. I don't have the official results yet, but I think we will be very pleased with the individual and team points results when they are posted!
Here is a partial list of class winners that I am aware of (sorry if I missed anyone-I'll send details when the results are available online): Nathan Pherigo, Tim Zandbergen, Clint Campbell, Jeremy Maldonado, Annabele Nenninger, and Heidi Volpe. Tim Z capped an amazing day by winning his class and then winning a bicycle in the raffle! Congrats to everyone!
We really need a good turnout at Elings next week to back our BB performance up! This race is in our competition's backyard so they will be out in #s. Elings is a very fun venue and is withing 1/2 mile of the beach. It is a great course for beginners so if you've been thinking about racing this is a great place to start.
